Asheville Volunteer

We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available:

Receivers

We value the donations we receive. Friendly volunteers help us receive the many items donated each day and issue receipts for donors.

Retail Assistant

Volunteer retail assistants keep our store in tip-top shape, whether it’s arranging the clothing for display or restocking shelves.

Sorters

Donation sorters keep our backroom efficient. We need volunteers who can spot hidden gems and vintage finds of value.

Building / Designing Displays

Our merchandise changes daily. We need creative volunteers to keep our retail floor and window displays looking great, often changing with the seasons and holidays.

Pricing / Tagging

Once donations are sorted, we need volunteers to price items. Specific guidelines are given for pricing merchandise, be it clothing or household items.

Cleaning

There is no task too great or too small.  CarePartners Hospice Thrift Stores work to keep our businesses clean, free from smells and dirty merchandise.

Cashiers

Volunteers who ring up sales also offer a friendly face to the public, acting as ambassadors for CarePartners Foundation.
